Public’s Help Sought to Identify Armed Robbery Suspect – Crime Stoppers Featured Case #18-11

The Portland Police Bureau, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Southwest Portland convenience store.

On Friday December 29, 2017, Central Precinct officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at the Plaid Pantry store, located at 4404 Southwest Multnomah Boulevard.

Officers arrived in the area and contacted the employee who told police that the suspect entered the store and demanded money while displaying a handgun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect walked out of the store without incident and was last seen walking towards a rear parking lot.

The suspect is described as an unknown race male wearing a gray baseball cap with an Under Armor logo, a black ski mask, a yellow and black jacket, black pants, and black and white Nike shoes.

Surveillance images are being released to aid in the identity of the suspect.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.

Information about any unsolved homicide is eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,500. Information about any other unsolved felony crime is eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Information learned from social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter or YouTube should be shared as these tips may lead to the identification of a suspect or suspects. Links can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
