Public’s Help Sought in Fatal Hit and Run Investigation – Crime Stoppers Featured Case #18-10

The Gresham Police Department, in partnership with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect involved in a fatal hit and run.

On Sunday January 28, 2018, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and died from his injuries several hours later at the hospital. The suspect vehicle was being driven westbound in the 1500 block of Northeast Burnside Road in Gresham when the incident occurred.

Surveillance video in the area shows the suspect vehicle being a silver or champagne colored import car (possibly a Kia, Honda or Hyundai) with damage to the front driver’s side corner area. There is a noticeable dent behind the driver’s side headlight and the driver’s side mirror looks to be broken. Hubcaps on the driver’s side of the car might be missing. The driver was described as a white male and the vehicle was last seen turning eastbound onto Northeast Division from Burnside.
