Crime Stoppers Featured Case #16-07 Stabbing
Portland Police Bureau Case #15-437512
The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in an aggravated assault.
On December 24, 2015, at approximately 1:54 p.m., East Precinct officers responded to the report of a stabbing in the area of Northeast 102nd Avenue and Glisan Street. The victim had driven himself several blocks away from the scene.
Officers and medical personnel arrived and located the victim, 45-year-old Henry Lee Bryant Jr., suffering from traumatic injuries. The victim survived his injuries after being taken by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment.
The victim told police that he was involved in an argument with the suspect over the use of the car wash and that the suspect stabbed him. The victim described the suspect as a white male in his 30s, heavyset with curly hair. The victim described the suspect as driving a gold-colored Oldsmobile or other American sedan.
Surveillance images of the suspect vehicle are being released to aid in this investigation.
Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.
Information about unsolved homicides can lead to a reward of up to $2,500 cash. All other unsolved felony crimes are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000.
