The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects in an August 2014 robbery.

On August 6, 2014, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., a 30-year-old woman was coerced into giving a woman a ride from the area of Northeast Garfield Avenue and Sumner Street. Once the victim and suspect were in the car, the suspect implied that she had a gun and demanded that the victim drive to the area of Northeast 15th Avenue and Alberta Street, where a male suspect got into the car.

The suspects then demanded the victim drive to a bank and a credit union and withdraw money from her accounts. The female suspect then told the victim to drop them off at the McDonalds restaurant at Northeast Grand Avenue and Broadway.

No gun was ever seen and the victim was not injured during this incident.

The female suspect is described as an unknown race female, 30-50 years old, 5’9” tall, and medium build.

The male suspects is described as an African American male, 50 to 65 years old, 5’7” tall, and medium build.

The victim was able to get some photos of the suspects that are being released to aid in this investigation.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and tipsters can remain anonymous.
